The front of the medal features the traditional Miraculous Medal design of the figure of the Virgin Mary, stood upon a globe, with light shining from rings on her fingers. The front of the medal also features the words "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee". The reverse of the medal features the traditional design of a letter 'M' surmounted by a cross and surrounded by twelve stars.
